So these past few weeks have been super crazy and I promise I will update you about what I’ve been learning and how it’s changing me, but I still need to process it all first. As many of you know I am going to Thailand on my outreach!! I am beyond excited to go out and share God’s word with the world. Each day I am here I learn something new. It’s been just so awesome.
This past Saturday I had the opportunity in going with everyone on an adventure to what is called, “the road to Hana.” It’s a road here in Maui that goes around the whole island…to Hana. We went cliff jumping and even got to swim in a cave which was awesome. I love adventures and so being able to do this made my day! The cliff were about 40ft (pictured below) and I even burst an ear drum, which I am not allowed to go in the water for the next 3-4 weeks. So this will be interesting.

(This is me jumping from the rock the first time)
I can’t wait for this week. We are having a media fast, so they are taking our phones and computers. It will be good for a lot of us. Too much we are all focused on our phones and always looking down that we never look up to see what is in front of us. I can’t wait to see what new things I’ll learn this week. I’ll be sure to write another blog post about what I’m learning when I can.
P.S. please keep my mom and friend Audrey in your prayers as they embark on an adventure this Wednesday. Thank you 🙂
Love you all and thank you SO much for the prayers and support! You have NO idea how much they mean to me. I am also happy to share that I have raised enough money for my outreach portion as well which is so awesome. I really couldn’t have done this without you!
Also keep my team in your prayers as some of them still need some more funds for the trip. There are 11 of us going to Thailand. My awesome leaders: Tim and Susann, and my brothers and sisters in Christ: Madison, Jeremy, Pascal, Kassidy, Ali, Alethea, Emmy, Lexy, and myself. ❤️

You look so happy, Rachel, and brave!!! The 1st pic is a great picture. Bob & I have certainly enjoyed reading your posts. I am sure your parents are comforted knowing you are doing so well, when so far from home. Of course, they also know you are in God’s hands. Take care & keep smiling!
