I sit in silence as I try to process the past hour. It is a day that I will not ever forget. It is the day that forever changed my life.

I woke up in sunny Haiku, Hawaii with birds chirping, geckos making noises, and to a cool crisp breeze coming in through the window which is right next to my bed. I woke up happy. I knew today was going to be a day, one that would change my life.
NOVEMBER 10, 2016 is the day I officially brought God into my life. It is the day I was baptized. Jesus wanted to be baptized to start a new beginning. That’s exactly why I came to YWAM to do a DTS. I wanted to start a new beginning for myself and to grow in my relationship with God. I ask you to keep me in your prayers as I encounter a new start. I am so happy and God is just so good. This week has been so amazing and with learning about the Holy Spirit has made it so much better.
Did you know that the Holy Spirit lives inside of you? Yes well it does! If you accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior then the Holy Spirit takes ahold of you. Now you must work at being a Christian. Pray, read your bible, and give everything to God. Step out of your comfort zone. You are never too old or young to be a disciple of God. Have faith!
LET THE HOLY SPIRIT COME OUT OF YOU!
The Holy Spirit may live in us forever, but we need to be filled daily. It’s like a flower pot with holes on the bottom. The water leaks out and needs to be refilled the next day or it will start to die. That is just like us. We must be refilled with The Holy Spirit each day.
Ephesians 1:13-14 “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
Being baptized and accepting Jesus Christ fully as my Lord and Savior, I believe that the Holy Spirit has sealed himself in me.
Please keep myself and the 6 other girls, who also got baptized today, in your prayers. (Ali, Alethea, Katie, Natalie, Jordan, and Averie)
Please let me know if there is anything I can be praying for. With you or your family!
I LOVE you all. Thank you! ❤️
(I WILL ALSO HAVE MORE PICTURES OF THE BAPTISM LATER)
Thank you for sharing your story! I am so happy for you, Rachel. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God continue to bless you with His mercy and grace.
