Have you ever had a conversation wth God? Like a real one where he speaks directly to you?
Well I have. Two months ago I thought people were crazy when said they heard God’s voice. But he speaks to me so clearly now. Over the past two weeks I had been staying in a mountain village and forming relationships with children whos parents can’t take care of them. Here is a video that better explains what I’ve been doing. These kids were so loving and so in love with the Lord.
Well that’s where God started speaking to me, in the mountains, one night. It was so awesome and made me feel so loved and so happy! God is changing my heart and literally each day showing me and telling me something new!
The next two weeks I am staying at Abba House which is a home for girls who’s parents are either prostitutes or girls who will be put into prostitution at a young age. These girls REALLY have my heart. I have never been more passionate for something. Like God has spoken to me so clearly that this is what he wants me to do for the rest of my life. I don’t know how or when but I do know that I have never felt more joy and more happiness then when I am with these girls and we have only been here for 5 days.
I encourage you to reach out and ask God something. He will talk to you. Whether that be through the Bible or directly to you. He talks to you. Pray about it. Ask God to speak to you. He really does speak loud and speak out to you.
I have a few prayer requests for you…
-my family and teams family
-for God to continue working in me and working in my team
-patience
-nonchristian friends and family (everyones)
-when I get home to be able to spread the word and talk about everything I have just done with strangers and nonChristians
I love you all! Thank you so much for the prayers!

Rachel,
It is so wonderful to read your blogs. You have seen and learned so much about some of the dark parts of the world which so many people can’t believe exist. Unfortunately that exists even in our country. You have learned so much about following the Lord – praying, studying His word and sacrifice. It might not be easy for Yo u when Yo u come home because many won’t understand. There will be temptations to fall into the “old” life. Luckily Yo u have a. Mom and Grandpa to encourage Yo u
We’ll be praying that God will be showing you the next step in your life as His servant. Love you❤
